I like this cape. One side is denim, the inside is smooth material.

It works great. Slides around a little because of the silky material it's lined with. It might be better to have a bit rougher material on the underside so sliding won't happen.

I'm sure this would work well with smaller parrots, but not with my M2 cockatoo. Biggest drawback, no elastic arm bands to hold it in (somewhat) place. With the rayon liner material, it slips around...a lot. Gave it a 3 for good concept. It just didn't work for us.

This parrot shoulder protector is a quirky yet surprisingly practical accessory for anyone handling birds. I love the vibrant pink camo pattern of this particular one. While I wouldn’t consider it an everyday necessity for myself since my parrots have rather predictable bathroom habits, this could prove invaluable when interacting with any new birds. If you happen to be dressed in anything other than your old house clothes and want to avoid poops and holes on your clothes, this will act as the perfect shield. This definitely would’ve come in handy for me in the beginning of my parrot mom journey. Besides acting as a barrier for poop, this can also come in handy to protect your delicate flesh from their sharp little claws (I swear my caique sharpens his nails as soon as he gets them trimmed down, lol). Overall, the material is strong enough, and it seems to be well-made. I’d highly recommend this for anyone bird-sitting or handling a bird that’s still getting comfortable with you. A practical, effective, and entertaining gift for the avian enthusiast!

If you have birds, you know why you need this. While I love my birds, they can make a mess and wreck clothes. This covers your clothes, easy to wash, and easy to wear. I am going to get more as they are amazing!

Review for: "XQIGI Parrot Anti-Scratch Shoulder Protector, Hang Bird Anklet Toys, Washable Multi-Functional Pet Training Pad Poop Diaper Anti-bite Shawl for Parakeets Macaws Lovebirds Finches (Medium,Pink)"Brand: XQIGIPattern Name: PinkSize: MediumFirst look: The Parrot Shoulder Protector came wrapped in plastic inside a 24.5 cm x 32 cm mailing bag. The shoulders are a bit longer than 8" at 8 1/4" (21 cm), and the front is 25 cm high with a 12.8 cm Velcro strip. There is a pocket and loops on the front side, and one side has a metal loop. I'm not sure if that is to hang toys on but if the birds are on your shoulder, you wouldn't want them coming down the front for the toys. Perhaps the loops should be on the top. The other thing is that my shoulders are only about half the length of the shoulder area. If the bird was to try to land on the shoulder area and fall, it would likely get scared and fly away. Birds like secure perches to land on.When I was ordering, I wasn't sure whether to get the 6" or 8" size because my shoulders are only about 4", but the 8" one showed a woman and the 6" one showed a kid. I would assume from this one that the neck area on the 6" one would be too small for me.Opinion: I had one bird that loved to be on my shoulder at all times so I was looking for something like this, but he would always attack my neck. I would have preferred this to have less shoulder area and go up the neck a bit to protect the neck from nibbling. The protector is nice for protecting clothes from poop down the back. I may just fold over the ends so the fabric shoulders end at my actual shoulders and the birds would feel secure to be on it. The Velcro works well to keep the protector in place. I like the pink camo colour.

This is a great concept but the material on the top and bottom is too slippery for my bird to grip on it. I love the concept but he slips and slides too much for it to be useful for me.
