Seller needs to update their part fitting,they said it would not fit my truck and I took a gamble and ordered it and it was identical as my old one.

This part was only available as a genuine GM part and the price reflected that. I only purchased it out of necessity and the fact that my labor to make the part myself would have exceeded the amount of overtime I needed to work in order to pay for it.
