My truck was throwing a P0785 code, and this was the recommended fix. It's easy to install and fit into my 4L60E transmission exactly like the original part. Unlike the original part, this one does what it is supposed to and my truck is now out of limp mode and it's shifting perfectly. I'm pleased with the quality, the smoothness of the shifting and the thing cost me under $30 so I saved hundreds of dollars by buying the part and replacing it myself.

…you receive a Genuine AC Delco Part. Not sure what is going on, but the first part received was NOT A GENUINE AC Delco Part. See pictures…Delco Professional Line is Color Coded and that is what I expect to get!Time will tell how the part hold up, but I imagine it will last until the truck reaches end of life since the original had 225k+ and was only changed for maintenance reasons. This part, and a few others, has the transmission shifting smoother than ever! Get the Genuine Part and you should be fine.

I liked the fact that Amazon carried the AC Delco part because it is a critical and sensitive to electrical current actuated part. You should keep your GM vehicle all GM as much as possible. Good job Amazon, right-on, right-on!!!

The truck shifted fine, but while I was in there changing fluid, I might as well replace these solenoid. Plus I saw these solenoids can fail. This is a little bit of a job. The transmission pan is a bit of a pain to remove. The retainer spring is a bit tricky.. be careful not to lose it. Get a pick tool to remove the retainer spring. But well worth the effort and spend...plus I did it and I know it's done correctly... makes me sleep better at night... Yeah, that's it... replacing the solenoid will help you sleep at night!

My transmission was acting odd. Shifting at higher rpms or not going to into gear at all. I was also getting a surging at around 50 - 60 mph in overdrive. This is a messy job, so first I pumped out the fluid that was in the pan trough the dipstick tube, then I removed the pan. Left a big plastic sled under the truck to catch the remaining dripping transmission fluid. I replaced this part along with the A and B shift solenoids, the pressure switch manifold and the 1-2 accumulator while I had it open. As you can see from my picture, the old one had a lot of fine metal filings in the switches. Don't know if it was just this part that fixed it, but It works better than it ever did before.

This is a good quality AC Delco part. It is identical to the one I removed from my 1987 Blazer transmission. It solved my delayed/rough shift problem.

Don't order any other shift solenoids but these! They are the best.

I got this for my 2000 GMC Jimmy SLT 4x4 and It works great. I installed it a few days ago, and it is functioning how it should be. My truck is down shifting smooth and properly, and it fixed the code P0785.
