Built an organizer box for the trunk of my car and need to wrap it and for the price I decided to try this after I was finished I had my dad see if he could tell what I had done (he didn't know of the project) and he couldn't figure it out until i pulled the box and showed him. The size came a little bit larger than specified which was great as I had enough to make a second one for his car.

I was in need of carpet quickly to finish a speaker enclosure job. I have bought several yards off of Parts Express of this “same†carpet (same exact picture and description) direct from Parts Express without issues. As I was in need of the carpet quickly I decided to purchase from Amazon to take advantage of my Amazon Prime account. What I received is NOT the same stuff that Parts Express sells direct.The direct from Parts Express carpet is soft, easy to use and wrap with, and allows for easy concealment of seams.This product I brought from Amazon is STIFF, it has little “fluff†to it. This means it’s a pain to wrap with and very difficult to conceal seams. I was forced to use this stuff because of time constraints on my project and I am disappointed in the outcome. Now I have wasted time into the equation and will have to re-wrap with carpet that I was supposed to receive in the first place.If you are used to the normal product Parts Express ships stay away from this. In fact it seems the seller is just using their name. Everything I have ever received in the past from P.E. has included their catalog etc, this didn’t.

A little too thick for a speaker, but works okay anyway. Vinyl would have been better. I always used cloth, but this is just thicker than usual, and vinyl do not last long

I've been using this stuff for years to cover amp racks and subwoofer enclosures, and it has never let me down once. It's thick enough to provide proper coverage, yet thin enough to be flexible when wrapping and fitting.

Not much to be said, durability is good and carpet is pretty solid, carpet is a little more coarse then what is in my 2000 ford focus and the color is a shade darker, however it could just be that it's not as broken in as the carpet in my 13 year old car, so there is no way to compare straight up... This served my purpose as a sub box cover perfectly and I have no complaints...
