The Passback Story
The Passback Football was invented by Mike McGonigle in 1993. While watching a football game on Halloween he noticed a goofy looking pumpkin staring at him. The pumpkin’s wide smile seemed to be daring Mike to pick it up. Mike proceeded to chuck it at the wall and it came back to him in a slight spiral. When he returned home he began lopping his old nerf balls into flat footballs. These, like the pumpkin, came spiraling back when he tossed them against a wall. Thus, the Passback was born.
- In the mid 1990's, Hasbro introduced a nerf version of the Passback Football under the name Turbo Blast-Back.
- The modern Passback looks like a normal football cut in half with a rubber pad on the blunt end.
- Now available in composite leather or rubber, the Passback has the same weight, feel and stitching of a regulation football.

Growing up i lived, ate, and slept football. It was all I thought about and it really consumed me as a young man. I was lucky extend my career a few years into college but ever since hanging up my helmet I've missed it so much. Now I'm almost 30 and a few times a month I still have dreams of getting the chance to play, but something always happens. Sometimes we take a wrong turn, other times I lose my helmet, but the theme remains, I never get to replicate the feeling I once had. Now as an adult, I see younger guys throwing the ball in the park and it makes me self conscious thinking "Do I still have it?" Or "Can I still hit that route?". The horror is you don't know until you try in public...until now.That's where the Passback comes in. I saw some reviews and videos online and thought "wow! I can finally get my throwing and catching back in private and without embarrassing myself". The first day I pumped it up I threw for over an hour! It works on stucco, brick, anything! My advice is throw it against something 8-12 feet high so it bounces back towards your face.Also, this ball just works as a normal football. Its great for playing catch with a friend as the flat side makes it super easy to catch.Overall I'm so happy with this ball. I've taken it to the beach and had multiple people ask how it spirals, how it is to catch etc. Everyone thinks it's super cool, but the coolest thing of all is that I now get to throw passes and recreate the feelings of playing in between Zoom calls in the middle of the work day.Overall if you love football or know someone who does. Buy this ball! You'll thank yourself.

bought this products for my 12 year old nephew. He loves it and he sent me a video of him throwing it. I would have never believed it would work so well. I was impressed!!!
