We do a lot of canning in season. It was a struggle getting lids singly from the pan of boiling water where we sterilize them- they would stick together. The magnet on this lifter makes it a breeze and cuts precious time from the job. Very pleased. Wish we had one years ago.

I've hated using forks to get mason jar lids out of boiling water or dumping water to get lids out. This has been a game changer for me. Easy to use and clean. Just toss in dishwasher or wash by hand.
