Polarizing material is on one side of a plastic substrate that scrambles polarization. You need to choose which direction the light passes through depending on your use.
- a) light through polarizing side first, to analyze polarization from an object;
- b) light through substrate first, to create polarized light to illuminate an object.

NOTE
Remember to take off the protective film from both sides before using it.
Application

Slightly lighter than I hoped, but it works for its purpose. I used it to cover some damaged areas on a television. The color is not a perfect match with what's on the television, but at least the TV picture shows through correctly in these little areas that I repaired.

This does not allow you to take photos on a security camera through glass. It does not work as it says it will. The company did give a refund.

Don't listen to the reviews of people whining about the blue line. The blue line is part of the protective film and there's a protective film on both sides.

This is a very convenient way to add polarization to a cell phone camera. It appears to be distortion free and effective, will know more when I get to the Bahamas to try it on the water. Initial impression is positive.

Thickness is okay, clear and smooth. I could not find the exact size I wanted, we need to buy a larger size and cut it to our requirement which is not worth.

The product is ok except for the giant blue permanent marker line drawn right down the centre of both sheets, making them entirely useless for any practical application.
