Easy to install even for the nonhandy mom. Sometimes you do want a third hand but my daughter was able to help. Even a young child could. It is beautiful and well made. Fit my door with one alteration which was expected by the manufacturer the little metal thing that goes through to the other side was 1/2 too long. I am sure it is manufactured this way to accommodate thicker doors. One snip on a pre scored line( manufacturer expected this for thinner doors) with pliers in my $30 house tool set and it was perfect fit. Lock is sturdy and the handle are well made. Feel good to the touch.

Why not just sell it with the lock installed? If you're not a lot. Smith and prepared to set tumbles and build this thing internally.Don't buy it.

These were great replacements for one of my properties. Universal fit for all doors. The installation was very easy and only took me 5 minutes. Worth every penny.

Not a good quality lockset for the price. I had to use several parts from the old lock to make this one work. Door strike was too wide for my standard size door and the hardware was very sketchy. Holes didn't line up on lock plate, had to reuse the old one there also. Lock is very stiff and the keys are extremely thin so I'm hoping the key doesn't snap of when locking the door. I'll go to Lowes or Home Depot next time.

Installation was easy, I had to modify the screw placement as I'm retrofitting an old wood slider, but that's on me. When I tried to use the keys provided, at first I couldn't remove the keys in either the locked or unlocked positions. I managed to remove the key, but then I couldn't reinsert the key once I got the internal latch to work independently of the keyed side.
