Purchased this to replace my outdated and broken handle on my sliding glass door. Unfortunately due to the design of my door, it did take some altering to get it to fit. The design required the elevated screw holes to line up to the existing holes, which mine were too small. But I simply filed them down easily and now it fits and looks great! Great value for the look and install. I've had it installed about a month and it's holding up well to the frequent use this door gets.

This works great and is exactly what the title and description say. We appreciated that it came with different length screws. We needed to fix the back sliding glass door, and this did the trick. It was quick and easy and much stronger than our last handle.

The Hillmaster Patio Door Handle Set is a low quality product that causes hassles during installation due to low quality screws and handles. I'd recommend going with a metal option instead of this flimsy plastic handle. The locking lever seems like it will break after extended use, and the screw set was made of a soft metal that made stripping very easy.Instead of buying this product, go for the Prime-Line C 1177 Mortise Style Sliding Door Handle, 1 set, White, with a better lock.

The lock set would be okay, but the mortise did not fit my sliding door. The door is metal so I cannot easily make the hole a little bigger. The square part of the mortise that holds the latch does not fit in the hole of the door edge. I couldn't compare the picture to the old mortise because the old one fell inside the door. The handles fit pretty well, although the outside handle is just a metal piece to grab the door, not really a handle. It also comes with a bunch of different sized screws. Once I have a mortise that fits, it should all work well.
