Great cheap pump for general aquarium utility uses. Mixing salt, warming up and aerating saltwater for changes, circulation pump for a 10 gallon frag tank, keeping my Brute container of RO water moving in storage.I have 2 units and both are super quiet. It's quieter than my HOB filters, some ACs and a Tidal. I instantly hear when I unplug those HOBS. If this little Pawfly pump is unplugged, I have no clue unless I look at the water.I don't think that they test these pumps before they package them. Before plugging them in, make sure that the rotor is spinning freely and don't start it dry because it can crack the magnet while it bounces around. My rotor was stuck when I plugged it in the first time, but I unplugged it, unstuck the rotor with a pen, and plugged it back in and it was perfect.Good water flow for the size and power consumption.

I bought six 800 gph. They barely move water. I mean barely. Two of them are dead within 6 months. China junk

I use this in my 15 cf deep freeze cold plunge setup and consider it a must have. I use 2 to move water around for affect and these do not disappoint. Durable, runs all the time 8mo out of the year. Fits the name - Wavemaker.

A good design and well attached to the tank. But after adjusting it it works only for short period. It will not start again unless I move it and adjust it to water surface level. Not happy returning it

i use this to mix my nutrients in a 5 gallon bucket and it thouroghly mixes everything together and has a strong current,has some flow adjustment ,its quiet,cheap and works great!

Some fish, like betas, don't like turbulent water. But this helps oxygenate my water and my fish are fine with it. Even my angel fish which aren't suppose to like turbulent water. Not as much as my other fish, but I've seen them body surfing on this turbulence. Will get gummed up with floating plant matter, but doesn't totally block it and it's easy to clean off now and then.

Product does nothing, barely moves any water on any setting. Pulls water into it and doesn't push anything. Will look into returning it.
