Keeps the temperature stable in my tank and I like that it reads the temperature in real time as well as being able to set a desired temperature. Recommend this product

Super easy installation, the buttons were simple to figure out, and it’s kept my 10g betta tank consistently 80 for the last month! The suction cups also function very well and the heater doesn’t come off the glass like my previous heaters have. Not super bulky so it fits well in a nano, and the plastic guard has helped prevent my fish and snails from burning themselves! No issues with overheating or shutting off.

I ordered the "Pro (5x7)" version of this reptile heat pad, which I am using to keep my butter spreadable all winter long! Yup, I placed this under a butter dish, and it's working perfectly to keep my butter easy to spread. So far, seems like keeping it set it at 28°C is warming up my butter dish and butter best. 30°C or above made the butter too soft (almost but not quite melty), 25°C kept the butter firm but still sort of spreadable. I know it sounds crazy but I'm excited to not deal with hard as a rock butter all winter!Note that BOTH sides of this reptile heating pad warm up, and both sides warm up within a degree of each other. Note in my photos with the thermometer gun, one side measured exactly 35°F (not pictured) and the other side (pictured) measured at 34.1°F, with the heating pad set at 35°F. This is, for me, well within acceptable ranges. As I am using this as a butter dish warmer, but not setting it very hot at all, I'm not worried about it causing damage to my countertop. Having said that, I do plan on placing a scrap piece of ceramic tile under the hot pad to not only reduce risk of scorching my countertop but also to protect the heat pad from minor spills, since this is in my kitchen. The temperature probe is visible through the heating pad's cover. For me, this isn't an issue, but is something to note. The temperature control only displays in Celsius. There does not appear to be any way to change this to Fahrenheit. I just ask Alexa to convert to Fahrenheit for me, so not a big deal, but again, it's something to be aware of if you are considering buying this.Overall, I'm pleased with this little heating pad. It's working perfectly for what I am using it for, and hopefully, it'll last a long time.

I bought this for my 9 gallon Betta tank. It works as advertised. I can easily adjust the temperature settings to keep the water at the correct temp. It suctions tightly to the glass, and fits perfectly in the back.

I'm using the heater in a 5 gallon tank placed close to the sponge filter. I was hoping to have the filter distribute the heat around the tank but it doesn't. The heater can't seem to maintain a constant temperature in a 5 gallon tank. According to the thermometer it's usually about 3 degrees lower than the thermostat setting.

I love this little heater. I use it in my nano tank and does a great job of heating the water to the correct temperature. My favorite feature is being able to set the temperature and being able to see when it reaches the correct one.
