I cannot speak highly enough about this product! Our gerbils are super chewers!!! I was desperate to find a replacement for our plastic pan cage since our boys kept chewing holes in it. THIS is it! It’s only been a couple hours and there’s a huge change in character.They love the wheel. They love the ramps to climb. this cage is perfect!!! just right for two gerbils! i will say though the water bottle definitely a fail, fell right out of its holder, couldn't hold the weight of the water. the one we have fits perfect in the cage. MAKE SURE you put something under the bottom ramp though being it is too steep for them to climb up to the first platform. other than those two issues this cage is great!!! i got it in the house by myself and set it up myself as well. yes its a little heavy but you can definitely slide it across the floor and once you get everything out its not too heavy at all. DO ASSEMBLE IN THE SPACE YOU PLAN ON PUTTING IT. ITS NOT HEAVY WHEN IN PIECES. the tank bottom is one piece. the cage is together as well and just folded until assembly, opens up like a flower. also one door goes on top :) enjoy your new cage!!!!

Overall, we like it. It's big, the gerbils enjoy it.The plastic house it comes with got nibbled on by the rodents and no longer connects to the cage.My only real complaint is that it's tough to clean. We have to fully disassemble it, then reassemble. The complexity means the kiddo can't handle cage cleaning independently.

This cage was really easy to put together. It’s also easy for me to take the top cage off to clean it, which is nice. I love that it has enough room for them to borrow and also two other levels for them to explore. I have two gerbils in it and they love it. And I found a table to put it on that fits everything great.

For my son's birthday we bought a hamster and of course I spent a long time choosing a cage) I decided to take this one because it's big and has glass at the bottom to keep sawdust from falling out. Everything is fine. But, it's sooooo heavy! I can't move it!

It's a pain to clean, but we have a litter box on one side and fill the rest of the aquarium with paper bedding. The rats love to burrow/hide in the bedding and make nests with the boxes we give them. Super cute! I also love that I can put a litter box (actually a storage tote) in the bottom. It's fun the be able to watch our pets through the glass!

This cage is great. Plenty of tank space at the bottom for bedding, tunneling and accessories. The plastic is thick and high quality, so it’s difficult for them to chew through. The second floor is large enough for a properly-sized wheel and water bottle. The top is good for toys and a little house. These gerbils don’t know how good they have it hahaWe had an issue with the ramp, and the seller sent us a replacement right away. Great customer service

It’s pretty easy to assemble , very spacious , love the glass bottom so I’m able to see my Syrian playing , the depth is great for people to put their bedding deep so hamster could burrow , everything is great about this cage , the only fault I have is the size of wheel , it would be perfect for a dwarf hamster but for my Syrian he will grow bigger as just young and it will hurt his back if it’s this size but it’s a great addition to the cage aswell as the hideaway. Overall amazing purchase and worth every penny!

We chose this cage for our gerbil because it allows for some depth of burrowing, though as we wanted to put a minimum of 20cm depth of burrowing substrate, we had to DIY lots of bits of cardboard around the bottom bit of the wired top to stop the bedding from dropping out of the cage.Also, the wired top is extremely fiddly and does not hold together very well when removed from the bottom glass half - which needs to be done each time a thorough clean is required.Size wise, it's smaller than ideal for a pair of gerbils, but on balance it's better than all other cages sold as gerbil enclosures available at most pet shops.Also, forget about the bits which come with it: they are cheaply made and inappropriate. We replaced the wheel and nesting box for better quality ones, kept the water bottle for now - though it doesn't secure very well to the wires - and used the bowl for his sand bath instead of food, as we prefer to scatter his food around the cage.In summary, it's ok, but could be a lot better if a little more though/effort was put into it.

I was sceptical to buy this case because of some of the reviews but we haven't had any problems. It's a good size for our 2 jew gerbils and they've already dug lots of tunnels in the glass base area! Would recommend, much more interesting than others on the market. This was the larger of the 2 sizes. We took out the plastic house and plastic food bowl and replaced with non-plastic ones from pets at home
