As small as expected. If you have a small dog less then 20 pounds. Read all info and measure.My dog is just under 50 pounds (22.67 kg) so...We extended ours with some wood we had and put a larger mattress. Doubled the length. I would recommend for two cats or a small dog.

First and foremost let me preface this review with the fact that I’ve assembled my share of furniture with success and am generally pretty handy.This item, however is of incredibly poor quality. The package seemed as though transit was rough as there was not only a complete mess from all the styrofoam that was damaged (as pictured), but also damage on the product itself. This alone wasn’t a terrible concern though as my pooch would be fine on a scuffed piece of furniture, when it came to assembling this item there was no instructions included! Once again, with a large item that had already caused me a headache from all the vacuuming I had to do I figured I would reach out on amazon to the manufacturer about an online brochure. Several days passed and no answer from the manufacturer.I was finally able to track down a PDF for the bed through the Home Depot, and furthermore this item caused a headache. The pre-drilled holes are very apparently not at the correct depth as my product (pictured) is not properly fitting. I will be requesting a full refund from amazon and am truly let down as I loved the design of having storage built in for my pooch’s toys.No customer service. Poor quality and poor packaging.

The only downside to this purchase is the assembly. Frankly, the directions suck and I didn't expect it to be as much work as it was (roughly 2 hours), but the end result looks incredible and it's sturdier than I imagined. (Note: I did end up buying longer legs to ensure the dogs could still look out the window.)Overall, this is a beautiful piece of furniture once it's assembled.

This item is small, not comfortable, pet must be super small to fit. Does not feel like a pet bed more so a sitting bench. Not spacious no room to move

Product came damaged and box was obviously repacked, screws already opened and repacked. A scratch on the top was colored over with marker to blend in, you can see damage in the pictures. With that being said, I bought it for my game room so the dog and cat and have somewhere to lay, so it won’t be regularly viewed by guests. If it was going in my living room, I would have returned it for aesthetics. Since it will be out of the way and I like it, it’s actually sturdy and well made, I’m not going to go through the hassle of returning it.
