I was using another brand last winter but gave this one a try. It was a little bit less expensive and works just as good. Doesn't hurt my dogs' paws which is the #1 consideration. I also like the fact that it's pink; it's easy to spot so I don't over-salt areas where it's not needed. I just wish they didn't come in 50 lbs bags. So heavy to carry.

It works great! Winter is tough in Michigan. Melts everything quickly and I love the pink color so I know where I dropped salt already. It's pet friendly too which is why I bought this brand.

Great product!! I’ve used “pet safe†products before and they typically have not worked as well non pet safe products, but THIS ONE WORKS! I also like the bright pink color. The color seemed to last until the next application, which made it easier to see where I had previously applied the product.

I have tried other products that were pet safe, but they did not seem that effective.I just took a photo and added it to show as I placed a light coat of this salt down about an hour ago and I just looked outside and I can see the difference between where my driveway splits and I did the front of my house and the walkway in comparison to my neighbor, sidewalk and walkway. There is currently a light snow and there was only about a half inch of accumulation, however that has totally dissipated as of right now. I find this product to be effective and the price was moderate compared to A so that is not pet friendly and more damaging to concrete and asphalt

Was expecting it in a bucket but it came in a plastic bag. Arrived quickly and works well. We have lots of dogs that walk on our sidewalk and I wanted to be sure and get something to help clear the ice that wouldn't hurt their paws. This product fits the bill for that. I live in the midwest where it gets icy and cold often in the winter.

It works to melt but my dog came in whining in pain minutes after I laid the salt. It definitely stung her paws. Don't buy this if you looking to protect your pets.

Climate change has shortened (almost eliminated) snow in the NC piedmont, but when we did have a storm the ice lasted for days and everywhere I shopped the snow melt was sold out. (I had thought I had a bag on hand, but I did not.) So the next time it snows, I will definitely have it. And Amazon delivery men will not be leaving my packages near the garage instead of on the porch. Apparently they find icy steps a deterrent.
