I think these are very nice. They are almost elegant. So nice you could even use them for soup, etc. Very easy to clean. I have a thing about the colors white and gray lately. Very classy looking. As for water retention they could hold a good amount of water but I don't fill that full, the cats would just play in it. Weight is good. They are not flimsy, they are like a soup bowl, they have some heft. They do not slide around easily.

Nice bowl for your cats. I use mine for a water dish. If you have two or more cats, plan on filling it a lot. Bowl looks big and deep, but it isn’t.

We tried several different kinds of bowls, rubber, steel and plastic. My boy cat likes to play with his water bowls and spill water. This ceramic bowl is heavy enough and has smooth edge so he can’t push around or pick up by mouth. Cute design too. A keeper.

I ordered two bowls, due to insufficient packaging unfortunately one arrived chipped and cracked, making it unusable as a water dish. I reached out to customer support and they sent me a replacement without any hassle. Would purchase from them again! The bowls are super cute as well :)
