This jacket is well made and comfortable. I bike to the gym in the morning and it was great for fall weather to about 35 degrees. From 30 to 35 I did add a windbreaker over the top. Now from 20 to 30 I have a light jacket over the top. Winter in Wisconsin is all about layering!

I'm not a cyclist, but my husband is, and he thought I would love this jacket, because he knows this is a high-quality brand. I got it more to use in the winter for an outdoor hike, snowshoe or cross-country ski. I normally wear a size medium, and that's what I got. It fits me well but doesn't have a lot of extra room underneath for layers, it's pretty snug fitting. There is a back middle pocket, but no normal side pockets for the hands. This is the one downside for me, as I love pockets for my hands. otherwise, this is great quality and will definitely keep the wind out!

This is a great jacket orbike riding or other outdoor workouts in cooler to cold weather. Depending on temp and your underlayer, it could even be used for high-intensity workouts like cross-country skiing during the winter. The jacket has a low-pile fleece lining. The outer shell is a poly material that is tightly woven, and the material is advertised as both wind-proof and water-resistant. Pearl Izumi says this is the warmest jacket in this line. The jacket has several reflective elements, and sports a large rear pocket along the lower back, just like most traditional cycle clothing does. There are no front/side pockets on the jacket. As far as sizing goes, you should probably order a size larger than normal, as this is a pretty tight-fitting jacket. If this results in the sleeve length being too long for you, that isn't a problem, as the sleeves roll up tightly and stay rolled up. All-in-all, this is a very high quality jacket for your cool weather outdoor activities.

This is 100% a great cycling jacket, which is awesome because that is where PI excels. While I miss their running gear, they made their name in cycling.I ordered a medium, in part because I have shoulders and apparently "wide forearms," though my watch bands have to be super small. This is a tad bit large on me, but not overly so. The arms are too long, and I would love if they had thumb holes, but they don't. it fit nicely around my back and waist, and would easily fit a jersey underneath. The lining is soft and warm, while still breathable. The ONLY pocket is on the back, like cycling gear. It was my husband that first commented, "don't your dresses even have pockets?" I get the styling - there is no bulk when over your handlebars from front pockets, but I always like them all the same.

This is a really nicely made jacket, warmer than I expected and quite comfortable. The description says loose fit, but I feel like it's more tailored than loose. The large zippered pocket in the back runs the entire width of the back panel and is perfect for supplies for long runs. I haven't had a chance to wear it in wet weather yet, but it feels like it will be very water resistant. I have big shoulders and the shoulder area is just a bit snug on me, so you might want to pay close attention to the sizing and/or size up, depending on how much clothing you plan to wear under it. I was very happy to read that it's made from recycled materials.

I've been wearing this jacket on the rare occasions that it gets chilly this summer and it fits well and keeps me warm. The material is nice quality and it washes well.

This is a very well-made jacket. It is my first piece of PEARL IZUMI. I do wish they would have had a size chart on the page. I wear a Large typically, but sometimes an XL. This jacket is very fitted and I should have ordered an XL. Fortunately it stretches. Personally, I wish it had some type of front/side pockets to make it a little more versatile. I do love the Fiery Coral color. For reference I am 5'10" and 170 pounds with a 38C bust. The sleeves are long enough which is great.
