This was expensive to me for elastic but I tried it hoping the skirt I made for my niece wouldn't have the elastic roll... it rolled immediately. I'm no professional, just a novice at sewing and was using stretchy material so maybe my expectations were too high. It feels nice and thick though not like the cheap little stuff I've bought in the past but having big thick elastic that twists on a little tiny waist is not good either

This is the perfect elastic for ribbon skirt making. They don't roll down like a regular elastic would

Not worth the current price it now sits and unfortunately but the product is great if you choose to still buy. Wife made several ribbon skirts using this for the waistband

This is the absolute best to use for waist band elastic. Never rolls up. Ensure your hard work sewing is a success, no regrets.Wish they also offered 3/4 inch size.
