South Louisiana girlie checking in. This is a great piece to have in the closet for parading. It's not super heavy weight, so you can easily layer it. (Because we all know sometimes its 65 degrees, sometimes it's 45 for Mardi Gras). The embroidery is very nice, so when you wash it you don't have to worry about the design flaking off. I'd say size up, because while the medium fit perfectly, I'd like the fit to be a little looser, more comfortable for wearing things underneath. (I'm a 34b, 140lbs, 5'6). My one minor gripe is that its not very "soft" on the inside. It's kinda like a rough terry cloth?

This is a nice shirt. I wouldn't call it a sweatshirt really. I think of sweatshirts as thicker with a fleece layer inside. This is just a thin terry shirt with thicker sweatshirt cuffs. Which is fine as long as you know that's what you're getting. The embroidery is well done and looks high quality. The color is actually better than the product picture. The other big difference from the product picture is how big the fleur de lis is. It's much bigger than pictured. I think that would have been fine if it was raised a little higher on the shirt. I'm only 5'1" with a short torso so the embroidery lands below my belly button, which I don't totally love. I looked at the size chart and they are definitely going for the baggy look, so be sure to keep that in mind when picking out what size you order. I went down a size because that's not my preference.
