I replaced my standard kayak paddle for this to use on pdl type kayak. You can adjust the paddle to fit your needs plus you can grab the dock or your lure, hook out of bush or tree, the cut -out in the paddle makes it quit usable

The extending handle makes this very portable and convenient to stow away on our pontoon boat, just in case we have an emergency issue with the motor and need to paddle, which I hope we never have to do! Very reasonable price.

If you’re going to be out on the water you really need to have an emergency paddle just in case. This one folds up nice and small and what makes it great is the glade has a built in hook and the paddle has a hand hold. All perfect if you need to save an overboard person or need to hook onto a dock or other object to get to safety.Don’t be a fool, get an emergency paddle just in case
