The fan was redesigned with a fan on the end of the motor and helps to keep the dust away from the fan. I have two Big E units and I also changed out both units. The new motors fit right in without a problem fast service and delivery and the right parts. Knowledgeable people that speck English and know there products!

I purchased this fan to replace the one in my 2005 Breckwell P4000 Classic Cast AKA The Vermont. Then fan did come with the gasket which was nice and not noted in the pictures or listing. The install was not too bad but in my stove its kind of crammed in there so its a little hard to get to. For my application the fan did not fit out of the box. The motor part that sticks the furthest out from the center (Not the dust cap end but the side) was hitting the fresh air intake pipe and would not allow me to line the up screws. Simply solution was to unscrew the fan from the housing and rotate one screw over. This allows the fan to fit fine in my stove and even leave the dust cap on. Little did I realize the fan housing was still resting on the damper control rod so when I started it up it was extra noisy. I was able to adjust the rod that connects to the dampener just enough to leave a small gap between it and the fan housing. This resolved a lot of the noise issues. This fan is still loud but it pushes a ton more air than my old fan did. With my old fan the stove would overheat if you put it on level 3 or higher. I also took temperature settings from the top of my stove with an infrared thermometer and with the old fan the stove top would get up to 140 degrees and now its at about 100 degrees on the same stove setting. All in all I would recommend this fan for the price but it is loud and the wheel was way off balance on the fan shaft but it does not seam to effect the operation. Maybe it adds a little more noise but Its installed and I really don't want to take it back out now. I would have given 5 stars if it was not so loud and did not need to be modified to work in my stove.Edit to add that this motor uses about 20 watts more electricity than the one it replaced in my stove. Results may vary as the one I took out was not the original fan either.

This was a replacement for a Fasco motor on Breckwell P2000i pellet stove. Seems to be working well with no problems.

I liked how quickly the product arrived. I also liked how easily the directions were written. My husband and I replaced the blower within 35 minutes, mind you it was our first time doing it. I recommend this product and company.

To start, this is not a Fasco motor as pictured. It is an NBK motor. It did fit in my Breckwell P23 Sonora stove even though the unit is slightly deeper/longer than the original Fasco closed motor unit. It works as it should and is quiet. The plastic disc on the end of the motor was warped but didn't interfere with operation. The only downside to the open motor concept is that wiring needs to be routed away from the motor and end disc so it doesn't run. You'll have to contort yourself to see into the unit to make sure wires are out of the way. Overall, this is a good product.
