I used this interfacing somewhat unconventionally… to patch a vintage sheet that had shredded in several places due to the aged fabric’s encounter with my apt building’s killer washing machine. I rounded the corners to minimize fraying, and initially was planning to mend after stabilizing the fabric with the iron on support, but decided to see how it worked on its own. It has survived several washings already and it’s a much softer and more flexible solution than similar iron on patches, so it’s actually comfortable. The destroyed sheet matches a vintage bedding set and it’s not replaceable, so I’m pleased this turned out to be an inexpensive way to salvage it for additional use.

I just received this in the mail. Just what I wanted! I was planning on making a tshirt quilt after Christmas time has wound down and I have some time to sew/quilt again. This is available in stores but this very type...for ME.. usually isn't stocked very well. Hit or miss. I am in a rural area so it's just much easier to order it than try to hunt it down and drag it home. It's super light but does the job. It's the perfect interfacing to use for most stuff unless you really want a stiff product. This is soft but keeps shape well.

You can't go wrong with Pellon sf101. This interfacing helps give structure to my handmade totes and pouches.

This interfacing does what it's supposed to do. Easy to order online when you can't get to the store. Pellon is a good brand.

I've been through so many different brands of fusable interfacing and they've all been ok or useless. Then I found this. Brilliant, best I've ever used. So long as you follow instructions it really is marvellous. It fuses really really well, it provides support without reducing the flexibility like so many do. It's soft too, another bonus. Definitely worth every penny and I'll not use another brand now. The size is adequate for most needs, but do check the sizing to make sure its right for your project. I've now set up a subscribe & save on here for it.
