I've used Wrap n Zap for a very long time. It is my preference to use when maing bowl or cup cozies. This can be microwaved, but only up to 3 minutes. It is better to just use it to hold your hot or cold dish after filling it. It will definitely protect your hands and table surfaces.That being said, the photos on this listing are NOT for what you actually get. I normally buy this by the bolt that looks like the main photo ..big, a bit awkward, but plenty of batting.What I received was a very small bolt of batting. It is a fraction of the size of my last bolt. I admit I didn't read the details. I thought the photos were of what I would receive. NO. The mfg photos are of the 90" x 10 yard bolt. What you get is just 22" x 10 yards.Will it work? Sure. The product is wonderful.But the size difference was a surprise. My photos are of what I got, and it matches the actual description of the listing, so I can't complain. My bad for thinking their photos were of what I would receive.So, just adjust your expectations carefully. Wrap-n-Zap is a great batting, and what you want to use for anything you might microwave. It has no scrim, or glue, on the backside that would melt or catch on fire.

This is the Wrap N Zap that I use for bowl cozies and things. Delivery was fairly quick.The only negative review I have is that they stated it was left inside the mailbox....but this doesn't fit in the mailbox. They actually left it right outside our door on one of the outdoor chairs. This negative remark would be against the post office and not against the product.

This product is made to go in the microwave. It's perfect for the bowl cozies I make. The only thing I don't like is having to pre shrink it before I use it. It's easy to pre shrink, just adds another step to making the bowl cozies. Shrinkage is 3%-5%. That's enough to cause the cozies to come out of the wash askew. So, don't skip pre shrinking before use.

The zap n wrap is narrower and thinner than my usual brand however this roll produces 32 bowl cozies at 11 inch squares- minimal waste, my husband cuts the wadding and he says buy it again.
