I had one of these previously that lasted over a year before it broke down enough to need a replacement. my cockatiel loves this toy, she likes to nibble at it and sharpen her beak on it, she likes climbing up and down it, and when she is hesitant to fly to a different part of the room, she trusts me to transport her safely while she stands on this ladder.

This particular ladder is good for smaller birds. The runs on the ladders are very thin, so not good for a Cockatiel, which is what I have. He chewed right through it.

I really like this ladder for my two budgies. The bars are kinda far apart, but they seem to be okay with it. The part where the hooks screw in could be better, but it is way more sturdy than I thought. They love to climb from perch to perch on it. They also love chewing the steps to trim their beaks which is perfect because they hate the cuttlebone.

I have had amazon send me 2 ladders and they keep falling apart or they come to me cracked or broken. It upsets my bird he hangs out on ladder a lot. Make sure when you order one that Amazon shipping is very FRAGILE with this product cause its very fragile and don't get ladder wet that's a big no no.

Good, well-made product. My parakeet uses it all the time and loves it.

My GCC refuses to use the ladder rungs but will begrudgingly climb the sides to get around if I lay it semi-horizontally with the end resting on a perch. Eventually I decided to take it out and built him a new one of just wood.It wasn't until I did a little more research that I realized that these rough sandpapery rungs/perches are not good for birds since it tends to be their more delicate footpads making contact with it, not their nails. Would recommend a plain wood ladder instead.
