Ordered this replacement filter since my old filter cartridge was letting DE powder back in the pool. Priced it at my local pool supply store at $585 with tax. Saved over $200. Exact same filter cartridge. Pool water back to being crystal clear.

My old module was very old and impossible to fully clean and as a result, I was forced to clean it weekly. I was wasting a lot time, lots of DE and my pool was less than sparkling. I found this module on Amazon and decided to take a chance and order it. It arrived quickly and I installed it right away. It works so well! It has been in for about a month and I have not had to clean it and the pressure has only gone up slightly. It appears to be a genuine Pentair Sta-Rite module. It works so well and I could not be happier with my purchase. My pool is once again sparkling clean! My only regret is that waited so long to order it.

I was unable to find this filter at my local pool store. I went on their website and the price was pretty expensive and it was going to take two weeks before I received it. This filter was perfect, at a better price, and arrived in a few days. I was thankful to find this option

It does not simply replace the old filter in spite of it having the same number. It took a drill to remove a small amount of plastic to make it fit. Once I did that the fit is perfect and it should last 10 years as did the old one. There is a fitting that is about 1/16” too small. Frustrating but only took about 20’ to fix with moto type hand drill.
