The water feeds through nicely to the brush, and the threads rub the correct direction. I use these with watercolors and with markers. Will order a few more from this company.

I ordered this flat water brush pen for making backgrounds in my journal but when it arrived the package had been opened, the top torn off and stuffed inside, then taped shut. The pen was wet and had obviously been used. I did not order a previously used pen, I expected a new one for the full price I paid. The pen itself does not have the straight flat edge I expected, it is a bit ragged. I’ll keep it but I’m disappointed.

This brush is not a flat brush, it is more a filbert with uneven filaments that make it more like a rake. I will have to take a flat razor to it to make it a flat. Not as described. The brush also leaks because the ferrule doesn't fit into the reservoir properly in my opinion. Maybe, this is the design of the brush? Unless I modify it I won't be using it. Too bad, because the Pentel Aquash/ brushes are pretty nice water brushes as far as water brushes go.

I've used other brushes and heard these were the best. So hard to control water flow. Especially after cleaning. Returning sadly.
