I absolutely love this clay. It was delivered on a swowy day, in the cold and was hard and frozen. I put it on a room heater and when I was ready to work it, it was very, very, soft. Firmer than play dough, and does not dry out like play dough does, but softer than CXXXXa clay. The description I read said it has a higher percentage of oil in it than other clays that do not dry out. I purchased some clay tools that will help me create finer featurers that I can't do with round finger tips. ... So far so good.... Question for manufacturer, in the event the clay does get crusty and dry what type of oil could we mix with it?? Canola? Vegetable?

This is an oil-based clay which doesn't dry and can't be fired, so its great for making rough sketches in 3D.It has a hard texture though, so you'll need to heat it up a bit or roll it out to make it more malleable in your hands. You can carve it easily with plastic or metal tools. Wooden shapers and utensils might snap under pressure. It takes texture work and detail very well. The color is a milky beige in real life and looks nice in Academic lighting setups.4 stars.

I needed modeling clay to hand sculpt stuff to then 3D scan and print. Great amount for the price and it reflective enough for my 3D scanner to pick up.

Overall it's decent but little bit too hard to work with, especially if you using for small parts
