This is a good tape. Is it the toughest? Nope. Is it a huge name brand? Nope. What is IS however is a great tape for woodworkers in a home shop or for around the house. If you’re a framer, then probably not. If you just take measurements for QC out in the field maybe. But in a shop, it worked really well. Being that it’s a 16’ tape means it’s lighter and is light on your shop apron. With the auto lock style you don’t have to worry about snap back when retracting the tape as you can slow it down. The black contrast makes it easy to read in a less than optimal lit shop and in shadows cast be your machines. The fractions are a nice feature as well. What can you say about the cost? Nothing really that’s good. Don’t think because this is at a much lower cost that the big brand tapes that it is junk. In the right place and need. It works well.

I love the black background & the white numbers;(I tried looking at in low light I could see the numbers/markers easier than I could see a yellow tape measure in daylight!!!!!!!!!!!). It also has bigger numbers/markings;(Yeah!). There is nothing about this tape measure that I don’t like!!!!! I’d definitely buy this again!!!!! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

I thought it was magnetic which it's not and only 18' when I read 25' but it seems durable, 1/8 inch off from my Stanley which present a problem.

ALL TAPES SHOULD BE LIKE THIS!!! LOVE IT! SO EASY ON MY EYES! REALLY APPRECIATE IT! MADE ME TURN MY CELL PHONE INTO DARK MODE INSTEAD OF LIGHT AND WHAT A NICE BREAK FOR MY SQUINTING EYES!

They haven’t discovered the metric system yet over in Americaland but if inches are what you need and a sturdy, rubberised easy to use tape measure is what you want. Like another reviewer said it is like the Mercedes-Benz of tape measures.

I like the white on black. Easy to read. However was hoping for larger vertical lines between inches. Hard to see the 1/16 marks.
