Great hammer for many uses. Excellent for removing stubborn rusted car parts to shock rust loose or when used with pickle forks or chisels. After many smacks the faces still look good. Also good to bring if setting up tents/guy lines and getting heavy stakes into tough ground. Much too heavy to take backpacking, but would be good for car/van camping.

Very solid feeling 4 lbs hammer. Good amount of surface area to pound whatever you need pounded. Like the length and the grip of the handle. Easy to do small taps as well as wrist banging in very tight areas. Very easy to adjust/add/remove suspension from auto in my case. Great all-around performing hammer.

It’s all in the title. Nothing to to complain about.

Figured I'd post a quick review for only one the fence between the two and three pound. I went with the three pound and I'm glad I did. It's still light enough that I can just choke up a bit if I need a more delicate touch, but it's got a nice long handle and can really put a lot of power into a blow if needed. It also appears that the 3 pounder has a slightly longer handle than either the 2 or 4 pound version. Been able to split some hardwood with this, so I'm pretty impressed. The hammer is really nice, seems sturdy and well made. I've used plenty of other tools from the company and haven't had issues.Edit: after some pretty heavy use starting a splitting wedge I had the metal deform a bit and the handle stated to separate. I dropped the rating by 1 star for this. I was able to pound it back in without any issues, but it has come loose again. It looks like it's just held in with pressure like a standard axe head even though it's not wood, if it comes out again I may try some superglue or epoxy to see if that'll keep it secure.

I just used this to hammer some metal posts into the garden that will be used to attach a fence for tomato trellis. It was nice to be able to grab this and not have to get out the full sized sledge, which is difficult to use with one hand. With this I could hold the post with one hand and hammer with the other. It was heavy enough to drive the post but controllable enough where I didn’t feel like I would miss and hit my arm.

This is exactly what I needed and it functions as expected.

This seems like a pretty nice sledge hammer. Plan on using it to fix something and to split wood. Feels pretty solid for the price.

This mini sledge hammer is awesome. Used it once then lost it in the shed. I think. Hopefully I find it in the spring cause I don't want to imagine the good days being all in the past. It's possible the neighborhood theifs lifted it tho which I would totally understand however that too would be sub-optimal.

For those tasks which are a bit to much for a regular hammer, but for which a full size sledgehammer is an overkill
