I was trying to remove a pitman arm from a 69 vette (thing was probably on there since 1969) and it would not come off. I broke several other pullers in the process but this one actually worked. They key is to torch the gear box stud and the puller will work just fine. For whatever reason, the other pullers were just junk and wouldn't work either way.

I tried to use it one time. It stripped the threads right away. It's a piece of garbage! Don't waste your money on this one. If there was an option for no stars, I would pick that!Update: I tried to get Amazon to honor the warranty like their documents say they do. All they did at first was to tell me they would not take it back. After nearly an hour wasted on the "chat", they "put me in touch " with the manufacturer. All I have gotten so far from them is that they lost the lease on the building! If this is how Amazon honors the lifetime Guarantee, NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM AMAZON AND EXPECT ANY USEFUL WARRANTY HELP!!!

I didn't put any pressure on the pitman arm it basically just fell off but it doesn't seem like a bad tool for the odd job

bought this to change my pitman arm took the nut off and it fell apart so never got to use the puller but it was there and did a fine job sitting on the shelf just in case.

Found this tool used paid around 10$ came in looked new. I first went down by hand and then by braker bar, and Pitman arm would not budge. I had no choice but to put my 1/2 " impact on it and some time it still wouldn't budge took a torch and got it hot a couple times with the impact and puller and boooom! Came off. Tool still looks good for the next job. Thanks!

On my Jeep TJ Wrangler, this tool broke (the thread stripped in the tool) on the first attempt to use it. I had oiled the tool threads prior to use. Had to go get a loaner from AutoZone, which actually worked very well.
