This is so easy to use - no more wrapping the old cable so it doesn’t drag. Cannot rate durability as we just purchased but sure looks neater. Our old cable coating was breaking down and was sharp and brittle so we needed a new one. The old straight cable was 4 feet so we opted for the 6 foot length in this cable to allow for the coiling and after installing I can see a 4 foot coil would probably be way too tight so this length seems right - doesn’t pull too hard on the brake connection to risk it pulling the pin when you don’t want it too. Carbine clip is very sturdy on this cable too. I hope it has the steel cable inside like advertised but no way to know unless you cut into to it and ruin the product.

I like how this cable is coiled like a spring this will not drag on the ground while driving seems to be made very well and the red color helps as a reminder to hook it up to the trailor and it was realy easy to install just clip 1 end to the electronic brake switch and clip the other end to your Hitch and you are done and the price is very reasonable and the clip is a very sturdy and strong and sturdy clamp and the whole cable looks nice

I like how this looks. It makes me feel like a semi driver and all their slinky wires coming out the cab and into the trailer. For this reason, I feel like a 'big boy' and it is ever so fulfilling.

I was a little concerned when I ordered this as to what the quality of it would be. Those concerns quickly faded when it arrived! The quality is fantastic and heavy duty in my opinion the cable is strong and the carabiner is solid, it will make for a nice upgrade to our Jayco TT.

Bought this for the breakaway on my ubuilt trailer so it would pass inspection. I wasn’t sure about the retractable cord at first but now that I’ve used it I really like it. The normal cables can get snagged in the hitch or drag the ground. The retractable cable stays in a good place out of the way. I’d definitely buy again. The connector part that goes in the box fit well also
