The item looked good when I eventually received it. Ordered it April 30, 2024 from JYphoto-NA, arrived June 5, 2024! The item does not mount on my camera correctly. It is too tight to lock up properly.

optically, it is a very good value, but the lens is handicapped by the terrible focus design. 90 degrees of focus throw is simply not enough for an f1.7 lens, and the distance scale is wildly inaccurate. wanted this to be the one, but i will keep looking

I started photography using an old manual lens on a newer digital camera so I love finding lenses like these.This 25mm lens was perfect for the look I was seeking! Its tiny and ligthweight.Pay attention that this is an APS-C lens!! I have an FX3 which is full frame but with some settings, I can crop the sensor internally and make the lens work.Its a very crisp F1.7 lens and gives a nice vintage look to your shots.It comes with a nice little pouch to protect it and again its TINY and lightweight. Love it.I will see that it's a bit snug on the mount. I had to really twist to make it lock. Im wondering if that will ease up over time but still good.Will keep shooting photos but Im interested in doing some videos to see how they look!

Das Pergear 25mm F1.7 wurde bei mir mit Sonnenblende geliefert ( 2 Pakete ).Das Objektiv paßte leider nicht ganz auf meine Sony Alpha 6500, man kann es zwar aufsetzen, aber dann nicht bis zur endgültigen Arretierung drehen, es blockiert vorher mechanisch. Dennoch kann das Objektiv in dieser Stellung genutzt werden.Auf meine ältere Sony NEX 6 paßt das Objektiv dagegen problemlos drauf.Das Objektiv ist rein manuell, wie bekannt. Blende und Fokus sind manuell einzustellen. Die optische Qualität, ist dem Preis entsprechend angemessen. Bei Offenblende ist die Auflösung nicht sehr hoch, bei Abblenden wird es besser, im Bereich F8-F11 ist es recht gut. Allerdings sind die extremen Ecken etwas unschön, mit geringerer Auflösung. Die Farbwiedergabe ist ganz ansprechend.Die Bilder wurden mit einer Sony NEX-6 gemacht.
