These brackets are made to fit the actual dimensions of so called 4x4 beams, which is 3.5 x 3.5 inches only. Unlike brackets from other manufacturers, these FIT lumber from common building material supply chains like HomeDepot and Lowes and the lumber does not need to be trimmed, shimmed or otherwise altered for nice snug fit.

These are heavy duty and just as described. Ordered these ones since they came with the bolts. I did have a couple of bolt heads break off but I likely over torqued them. And there were extras so it worked out.Used these to build a shade structure by our pool and it couldn’t have been easier. Love the simple, modern look.

These are priced much cheaper than others I have seen but they are very sturdy and I was able to set up a 10X10 pergola with no issues. I slapped on a sun shade and now I have a great little movie screen holder for outdoor movie night and some other stuff too but mostly for movies.

We waited for about two years for the brackets to come down on price. Well it finally did and we jumped and started building our serenity area. With a lot of help we completed this area. The brackets are well made and fit like a glove in our 4x4x 10 wood beams.
