We built a deck for our pool and added some sun shades this was what we need to make the 4x4 frame!! Works and looks great!

These worked great and have a nice appearance once installed. My only issue with them is with the screws provided. They're so long that when you drive the outside corner screws they hit the screws from the other side which forced me to drive them on angles. I broke a couple drill bits in the process.

Used these to make my pergola. They make the whole project much easier. Withstand strong winds and do not rust over.

These are so amazing for building without having to be concerned about the base not being secure. I want to set up a new shed, but with the building codes out here, I would need a permit if I put a concrete foundation down, even though the shed is hardly bigger than an outhouse. With these, I can avoid the cost, labor, and time of building my little shed to be able to The quality of the material is far better than I could have hoped for, so I would have no concerns with using these as support which will really speed things up. The other huge benefit is that these will allow me to take the shed with me when I move and simply place this on my new property. The steel is heavier than cast iron, and rust proof so that will greatly extend the life of the shed, and the 4x4 wood posts I am going to seal before use, to see if I can get them to last as long as the steel. The quality of the wood is great, there are some cracks on the outside, but nothing that is deep. There was care taken with these because the pieces are evenly sized to create a stable base. There are not any corners cut on these, with such high-quality steel I actually felt the need to step up the quality of the framing material for my shed.

These post base brackets are made of thick plate and come with the right hardware to secure them properly. Brackets of this strength usually cost much more. The paint could be better, but a can of spray paint will take care of that. I really like that the concrete anchor bolts fit through the holes in the base. That way the holes can be drilled in the concrete with the base in place for perfect alignment. In areas that experience very strong winds, longer anchor bolts might be needed. The brackets are fairly square; they are within working tolerances. These are battleship strong. Highly recommended.

Notice how the screw holes align to the ones on the next 90° side? So, the screw you put in from the bottom will PERFECTLY hit the ones you put in from the side. They put no thought into offsetting the screw holes. My recommendation would be to get another box of screws a half inch shorter to solve this problem.Also…. These brackets did not fit on 75° of the 4x4 lumber without a LOT of hammering, which, BTW, was impossible to not damage the VERY THIN paint that was already scratched when it arrived.I had to go back after it was assembled, mask off the areas, and paint the brackets AFTER assembly to cover the exposed metal on the screws and the scuffs from forcing them over the 4x4’s.Overall, they get 2 stars because they technically “workâ€, but the quality is reflected in the low price. Also, the metal is very thin.

Seriously a good kit to get - it's not TOJA but it's steel for a 1/4 of the price and they sell you everything in a box. The only downside is the quality of the screws - I had to go and buy better one.
