It seemed to make sense to have the mouse & keyboard all in one unit, I don't have to use it for prolonged use, just when I change certain channels. I find the mouse-pad is cumbersome & a little erratic. I have switched my TVs to YouTube TV & use the PCs to work some of the streaming, so in the bed when watching TV I use the PC type interface for some channels, the main channels a fire stick work but for ESPN & a few others like FX, Fox sports etc I have to use the interface from a PC. The mouse pad takes some getting used to, & sometimes it seems to just jump on its own, but mostly it is ok for my use. If I had to use it for my main PC use, it would not do at all.

I don't know why, but every time I turn around, the Num Lock light comes on. Sure, just hold down the Fn Key plus F11... But to have to do this over and over again, it gets really old fast. You can't just double-click on the pad itself. You have to use the buttons.Other than that, which I'm sure I'll get used to it, it's a really nice keyboard. Small, light weight, and convenient.I just hope that I don't get drunk while working with it - things that don't work properly seem to get broken at those special times.

Pros:+ Function keys are default, media keys require the Fn button.+ Takes removable rechargeable AAA batteries instead of trying to pass off non-removable rechargeable batteries as a feature. May not seem like much, but it's the difference between a device working like new for 20+ years, versus needing to be replaced after only 5 years.+ Touchpad is in the right place for pinky navigation without needing to move my hand too far away to reach for a separate mouse.+ No short right shift key since the arrow keys are properly flattened.+ Has a right ctrl key instead of replacing it with some gimmick. Ctrl + left/right allows the text cursor to travel per word instead of per letter, and a right ctrl allows that to be done with one hand.+ No branding, only function.+ Firm, silent, tactile button presses. Seems to be common on keyboards from this brand, though I only have two.+ Compact; thin and flat. Lightweight, almost like cheap plastic, but in a good way. Don't want my portable keyboards to be heavy, after all.Cons:- No Bluetooth, only a wireless USB-A receiver. While the receiver is good for entering a BIOS since Bluetooth isn't available at that stage of startup, Bluetooth is the best option for usage of mobile devices that have a single USB-C port. Would be nice to have both on the keyboard.- Touchpad could be a couple of millimeters farther away from the keys, maybe twice the distance it is now.- The text "Win" on the Super/Start/OS button is kind of an ick, I'd rather it just be blank.- No backlight as per usual on a keyboard that takes AAA (or AA) batteries. If it's due to the battery life, just use a toggle button. I only need the backlight on rare occasions. Considering how cheap the keyboard is, I'd be willing to pay extra just to have the option.

So after my Logitech k400 died, I researched trackpad keyboards forever before buying this one. I really like the spacing of the keys and I like how shallow they are. Overall this is a well made keyboard that I like more than my old Logitech. HOWEVER, one small thing, not having actual buttons on the trackpad makes it hard to click.. and one BIG thing, the trackpad is so flush with the bottom of the keyboard that my hand/palm grazes it all the time as I transition from typing and using the pad. It makes using it unbearable as the mouse moves around all the time causing errors in my writing. If they just put the trackpad on top and the notification lights on bottom, and make actual buttons on the track pad, it would be 10/10.

This keyboard / touchpad would be great if it actually worked. It doesn't. Both of the ones sent to me had the same problem: the "Num-Lock" function (with blue light) turns itself on every time you hit a key after you first turn the unit On, which in turn prevents you from being able to type U, I, O, J, K, L, or M - and a few other things. They become numbers rather than letters, and there's no way to turn the num-lock off without turning the unit off and back on. I checked and read the instructions thoroughly, and this is definitely a defect, not user error. The first one worked from almost a week, then started doing this. Sent it back for an exchange; the 2nd one I got did this from the start. Also, The touchscreen works but the magnification up and down with two fingers "squeezing" is hypersensitive, and runs up to 500% accidentally almost constantly when trying to just scroll up or down. Also, the scroll is opposite of normal; up is down and down is up. Complete junk; stay away.

I bought an almost like new refurbished.I have to rate Amazon because they said that it was only on the box but truthfully the product was damaged on the edge however it still works. I bought it for my TV and it does work nicely with the Bluetooth.

I like these keyboards I have three regular plugged and actually two cordless touch pad types but the touch pad is giving me trouble and when it goes to sleep, I can't wake it without turning it off and on again.

Good keyboard, relatively easy to use. Large drawback is 'numlock' is on as soon as the keyboard comes up, screws up some of the keys when logging in, etc.

Good keyboard and track pad. Does the job overall for the price. One questionable design cod choice is having a num lock on this given that it's a compact keyboard that's totally unnecessary and will cause some people to get confused initially. Otherwise does the job at a reasonable price.

Trusty US layout makes this keyboard truly plug & play without the need to figure out different keyboard settings, works even with a Mac mini for cold boot options, something that other keyboards commonly struggle with. The build and keys are sturdy, with a very responsive touchpad. And the USB receiver makes it all work out-of-the-box, without Bluetooth pairing annoyances. All in a very neat, black and flat build. I can only strongly recommend this.

I also own a wired Perixx keyboard and this one is very similar, which is to say, compact and inexpensive but pretty good to type on. The USB receiver stows away neatly in the battery compartment when not needed. We have had it connected to a couple of laptops to make working from home slightly easier during the C19 pandemic and it has also been used on a smart TV. I don't get great results with the trackpad but I think that's me and not the device because I struggle with the inbuilt ones on my laptops, too... I have a separate (wired) mouse that I usually use along with this keyboard as a result.
