Lots of beads at a good price. Have ordered these twice now and love that that are presorted by colors as opposed to being all in one big bucket. Lots of entertainment for my kiddos.

This is a good set with a decent spread of colors for different designs. Just make sure you buy a pegboard too as it can be difficult to freehand your creations.

Don't get confused by the word tray in the description, it just holds the beads, it is not the try that you place the beads on for your design. Comes with an idea book, the beads, and they come in an organization tray.

We LOVE Perler Beads. We also do the somewhat similar Beados and Quixels, but we really seem to prefer Perler. I feel like these challenge my kids the most (in a good way) whereas the similar crafts are too easy/simply made and extremely expensive. My four year old will sit forever making all his favorite characters such as Ninja Turtles and Minions. We go online and look at pictures and he will just count the beads/rows and build based on the visual. I love that he is counting and focusing. I love that he is using his fine motor skills. My older daughter also loves to do Perler Beads. This bead tray gives a great amount of beads and has them nicely organized and separated. I also love that I can add to the tray. My daughter used the idea book to make a few cute objects. We had no idea of all the options out there until the book. We are loving this kit and idea book. It has all the best (primary) colors and more.
