These things really work! Our aftermarket TPMS system was causing the rubber valve stems to flex and contact the wheel at highway speeds. These seen pricey, but it was much less expensive than having the tires dismounted to install conventional metal valve stems.Installation was very straight forward, easy and fast.

As the title says, these things work. I had an old, crusty valve stem on a tubeless tired used motorcycle I purchased. After about a year, it suddenly developed a catastrophic leak through the cracks in the valve stem, leaving me stranded temporarily. I didn't feel like paying tons of money for a shop to remove the tire and replace the valve stem, and I didn't have the means to remove a tire at home easily, so I figured I would give these things a try after someone recommended them on stromtrooper.com. What do you know? They work great, and they're dead easy to install, even without removing the tire. I tried to remove the old valve stem as best I could with some needle nose pliers and a flathead screwdriver and managed to get most of it out from the outside of the rim. Some pieces did fall inside the tire, but I haven't noticed any negative effects from there being a few small pieces of rubber in the tire. I put this thing in the rim, tightened it down, and voila, solidly sealed tire. This nicely machined replacement valve should probably be the default valve as it works, is easy to install, and is made of metal, not rubber. I pumped the tire up and it has held the same psi for about a month now. Very satisfied. Also, made in the USA.

I was skeptical about buying a valve stem replacement kit because I was unsure if I could make it work. However, I was tired of inflating my tractor every morning before I started working so I did some research and Colby had the best reviews and the easiest instructions. I did exactly as written and I was done in less than 10 mints and the tractor tire is holding air just fine!

Time saver for sure! Works awesome easy to install. Functions as it should , put these I to an atv tire thay hasn't been made for 40 years! They're in a old chevron style soft sided tire with the 3 lug hub cast into the tire on a 50 y/o atc installed a year ago, been abused by every kid in the family since, doesnt leak, works as it should, awesome product, highly recommend, in fact I ordered more just to have them on hand

The valve doesn't fit for me. It is high quality super easy and fast to install with the tire still on. Unfortunately with it not being flexible it interferes with my beadlock ring and can't be aired up. I like these so much I might drill a large hole in my beadlocks so I can run them. A must have in an emergency tire kit. I used it in a pinch with no other choice and only turned the nut a couple times(not even close to tight.) Then king it a few degrees And it still held air and I was able to get off the trail and drive home.

I knew the 25 412 rubber valve stems I bought from Ebay for $5.00 seemed too good to be true. Yep, they started cracking 2 months after install. I run a scooter repair business out of the back of my home. I just installed 3 of these Colby stems in 1 week. Beats the hell out of breaking the bead, replacing the stem and re-setting the beed. You either take the wheel off the bike, or take on the brain damage of trying to do it while still on the bike. I'm keeping these on hand from here on out.

I bought a set of these for both my trucks & tractor and have used one for each & they work great.I bought spares after installing them on my tractor & my son's truck. If you've got heavy equipment or just a truck or 4 wheeler get a set for each of them. They come in 2 different sizes, one that fits large tractor tires etc & one's for smaller wheels like mowers, 4 wheelers etcThey'll save you a trip to a tire store.I highly recommend these.

Used this to replace a split valve stem on my van. The valve was easy to install and seemed to be doing the job, but there turned out to be a leak from the valve core which was not tightened enough inside the valve stem. This was obviously a very easy fix but make sure to order a valve core tool with this kit to check the core is tight before using. Otherwise, this has been on my van for a few months now with no issues, would definitely recommend carrying these as a spare if going on long trips or travelling off road

I use RimGuard in my tractors. Over time, that product seems to weaken/dissolve the rubber around the metal part of a normal valve stem.Changing a valve stem without unloading the tire and breaking the bead is imperative in this situation! This product saves an inordinate amount of time and hassles.(Put a bit of dielectric grease on the bottom, tapered brass part before installing.)
