Far superior to the product available at your local big box store or supermarket. I have started making cheese at home and this product was a game changer. The value is in the fact that they are cleanable and multi use depending on how you care for them, which will determine the life you get from them. I hand wash mine. The hemmed edges separates them from the other products I have used. There are a number of products in this price range for a comparable amount of cloths, but these will last me a very long time. I can only compare them to the frayed edged, bleached white cheese cloth product I used to use which I purchased at the local supermarket and they are a world apart. I cannot speak to any other product by comparison in regard to quality or number of cloths provided at this price point as I have not tried them but doubt that I will never need anything beyond these.

They are just the right size... There's plenty to share with loved ones. Sturdy and is worth the money.

I usually buy hemmed muslin cheesecloth and I thought this was a great price and it says it's cotton. Im surprised that this is 100% cotton. It has a weird feel. It's quite rough on the hand. It was a great pricie and I will certainly use them, but probably more for cleaning than food work. I doubt I would purchase again.

These are super thick and large enough to fit my cheese molds and I can also use them to cover my milk bucket as an extra layer of filter

Just got into making cheese at home and these are perfect. I have always used the clothes with loose edges before. These have great edges and no strings.

This Peryiter, 40 pack cheesecloth set is an incredible value! The quality is really nice. The edges are hemmed well and the cloth holds up good during straining; these are great for nutmilks straining. They're easy to use and to wash; they dry quickly just handing up somewhere to dry. The size is perfect for just about any household straining task. Love these!
