I bought this carrier after my previous carrier broke when I shook it to dislodge a crate liner. Not a particularly hard shake but to my shock it caused the handle to snap right out, leaving the top of the carrier shattered! I am so relieved I didn't have one of my pets in the carrier; if the handle had broken out like that as I was carrying a pet in it they could have been injured and/or gotten out and lost. So I was searching for a new one and bought this. It is several grades above the one I had and the handle seems a lot more secure. I gave it four stars rather than five because I would still like to see the handle have some better reinforcement and because it is too easy to fail to have the door shut properly into the little slots that keep it safely shut. This is the best I have been able to find though and the price seemed reasonable for the quality.
