Was hesitant to buy this product because thought might be difficult to use. Was pleasantly surprised. Trimmed my Gooldendoodle, and very easy to use and did a wonderful job with little cleanup! Great machine!

I have a very touchy pup and he does just fine with this machine. It is not very loud and does not scare him. At first I just bushed him to get used to the machine, then I moved on to the clippers and he did just great. The clippers work well for his hair. He is a Jackadoodle and does not have very thick fur. Smooth cut even after 10 uses. I would suggest a wheel cart for the machine to sit on. I love the length of the hose and the cord.

I have two ragdolls, they shed a lot. Often times when I groom them, furs are everywhere. With this kit, I am able to groom them with ease. Just need a little time to have them get used to it

The product is very well engineered for its purpose, and the complete package has everything necessary for complete grooming.

I bought this for my grandson to use on the shepherd/husky dog. It works very well. Easy to use and the dog lays there quietly and enjoys the rubbing he gets.

We have a rag doll cat. She has a mixed relationship with vacuum cleaners and their sound. She will run away from our larger floor vacuum but she chases our robot vacuum around the house. She is also a certified fur factory and often needs some trims to keep the flying fur and mats at bay. We have used this on her several times. It is nice that the hoses are long enough that we can keep the base and its noise a little farther from her. She tolerates it well but if we turn it up to full suction it does start to bother her and she decides she wants to escape. So we keep the base as far as possible from her and use the lowest suction setting. It still works reasonably well at that level. The hoses are a nice length and see through which helps to identify any clogs (we haven't had any) and allows you to see that the hose has been properly cleaned after use.The included attachments are nice quality plastic. In fact, the whole device has nice build quality. It has helped us a great deal with keeping our cat's fur trimmed and off our floors. We really like the trimmer and the fact that it sucks up the hair as you cut it off.If it can work on our cat's fur I have no doubts that is is fine for any cat or dog. You can also use some attachments for cleaning crevices in your car, etc so it is great that it can be used as a multi purpose device. We have this one reserved entirely for our cat though. She doesn't exactly love it but tolerates it to the point that we can trim her fur. Cleanup of the device and attachments is relatively easy. Much better than just using a trimmer and then getting a vacuum to clean up all the fur that flies around.Happy to have this and would gladly buy another one. Great purchase for any pet owner. Just keep in mind that some cats (and possibly dogs) might not tolerate the sound especially at higher settings but if we were able to use it with our spoiled rag doll cat I feel that most people would have success using it on their pet.

The crevice tool is great for getting fur from hidden or hard to reach places.The filter is washable and is easy to maintain along with the accessories and vacuum. The vacuum has a two year warranty which adds to its value.Great set of tools amd powerful vacuum to help groom your pet.Work slowly with rewards and get pets used to the vacuum if they are afraid or are new to the experience. Over time they may tolerate the vacuum and accessories and even look forward to the experience.

I have used, and been using, two similar systems but they are limited to only drawing in any fur that's been removed by the various brushes they come with. The huge advantage of this system is the way in which trimmed fur is pulled up into the vacuum when using the clipper attachment. This is a great idea, one that I wanted for the old system.We have two pups:- A berandoodle with longer wavy hair on top and smoother, shorter hair on the belly and head area.- A doodle (father is a standard poodle, and mother is a mix of 50% Bernese mountain dog, 25% poodle, and 25% golden retriever) and this boy has got a wide variety of fur. Tight curls on the back and then grinchy legs and paws. It can be a real challenge getting the legs and paws trimmed, but this system makes it so much easier.â–º The five different combs make it easy to get the trimming down to the length we need. The snap on and pop off like any other powered trimmer combs.â–º Overall, this weighs maybe a kilo so it's simple to carry to where it's needed and then tuck away again.â–º The vacuum hose can be wrapped around the machine and the end snaps into a holder to keep things tidy.â–º There is a small tube of oil for the trimmer head included. This is an important item; the cutting teeth need to be kept oiled, or they wear out fast and then lose their usefulness.Using the machine is not complicated. Pressing and holding the power button for three seconds starts the vacuum and powers up the clipper attachment. There are two other buttons "-" and "+" which increase or decrease the vacuum power. To turn the unit off, press and hold the button again for three seconds.I am left with finding nothing really negative to say about the way this system works. The only real thing worth mentioning is how warm the vacuum's expelled air is. Other than that, the trimmer head only has two positions for the cutting teeth. There should be three based on the slider, but the third is hard to lock into.Each of the attachments snaps onto the hose and is easy to remove with the press of a button located on the hose end.The collection bin holds a fair bit of fur and is also easy to remove and then snap back into place. There are two filters on the bottom: a metal screen to catch most of the fur and then a sponge-like filter underneath. To aid in capturing everything like dander the base has a HEPA type filter. Both the sponge and HEAP filters are easy to remove for cleaning and the container with metal screen can be washed when needed.While this is not a cheap pet grooming machine, when we have to take each of our pups in to be groomed, it's a $95 bill each time per pup. Considering that they need grooming at least twice (most likely three) times a year, this will have paid for itself very quickly.I don't give out 5 stars often, but in this case, it is deserved especially when I compare it to other similar options but lacking the one important feature, the trimmer with vacuum connection.
