This is my second try on a heating pad for my new cat.This a good heating pad a good size so you can convert an Amazon box with a baby blanket into a cushy sleeping zone for outdoor cats. I use mine down to low 20s on the highest setting P6 with the power set to on. At about 40° my cat wants a lower temperature. I have a new cat that is an outside cat from TNR that won’t come in and gradually teaching her to sleep in an enclosed situation. I have a new insulated cat house but she’s going to have to learn to go inside to sleep so I am gradually training her with the Amazon box cat nest. I have one long flap cut off the rectangular Amazon box With a piece of chopsticks woven through to keep the lid from caving in, and I folded the smaller flaps into the box before I put the bedding in. I have the crumpled up brown paper, nothing plastic and one towel with Heating pad on top of that and then a thin cushy baby blanket. She absolutely loves it and it’s gradually learn to sleep under the box flap the cat bed this particular one is not exact size of the box so I’ve curled up the excess on the side under the flap that draws her in to learn to sleep with her head covered. It’s been a week and she’s become a pro.Her new insulated cat house is out airing ready to be assembled when she’s ready to give it a try… i’ll just have to test it to find out when.When that happens, I will be shifting her cat warmer into the insulated house most likely on a lot lower setting.Yes, buy this pad, it has proven itself through the last two cold snaps here in North Florida… you just have to observe the cat to know when to turn it down in temperature. I love the control it’s easy and it’s all worked very well and it is bite proof though she’s not really try to bite it. She’s just happy to have such a cushy warm nest, Cheers!

What I like was the bigger size. And I can set the control to 24 hours to keep the two cats warm. While am gone all day. It’s not super warm, but it does the job to keep my cats happy and warm enough.

Purchased for some outdoor strays that have moved onto my covered porch. It is used outdoors. Does not get very warm, cord is sturdy but not long enough for where I use it, so I had to purchase an extension cord that was compatible. It’s a good size (2-3 cats sleep on it & they’re pretty large cats. Love that I can set it up to 24 hrs. Don’t have to worry about it turning off in the middle of a freezing night. The cats haven’t complained & it’s gone down into single digits. So overall I gave it a 4 because of the lower heat level & short cord. Good value

Very nice Mat well made and works great. So far. Just had it a short time, but I'm very happy with it. Having the adjustable heat turned out to be very important. As the dogs liked it at a certain temperature and the time control was also helpful. Dictated Sorry for errors.

Save money. Replacement didn’t heat up also. Another save your time and energy having to return to ups. Don’t buy it.

Check the size - It matters. We've gotten a couple for our dogs. Needed a new one for the outdoor cat. ( rural area; rodent control ). The pad is great - controls are easy to navigate.My error - got big dog size for cat. I was able to "curl it around" his night time cat cage which is working well.

I have 3 outside cats, they all fit. Cats love it!! Easy to set up and use, pad heats quick and feels soft to touch!!

It actually feels warm to the touch and has an option to stay on permanently. This is perfect for my cat, I got two.
