I do not like that I have to connect to a computer to read the information. However, it let's me know that the animal is chipped. This helps to know if the animal is chipped very easily and I can look up the info easy enough.

Bought this for scanning dumped dogs in Houston. Tested it out on our own dogs/cats and it worked great. Was weirdly fun and satisfying. :)

Surprisingly it actually works! I'm a breeder and I microchip my pups before they go to new homes. So I needed a scanner to make sure the chips read correctly after implantation. Its quick and easy!

Product arrived clearly used prior with scratches on the screen. Not only that there was previous scans stored on the device proving it was a used item.DO NOT BUY!

Works as intended. It scanned my pets microchip quickly and stored the result. I was able to look up the first 15 numbers on a free site online and it told me the correct company where it was registered. There were already numbers stored in the device, so it maybe it was a return but I haven't experience any issues. Deleting a number was easy to do. Seems a bit pricey, but after ordering there is a reduction so a good value if you want to order one of these.
