I work with dogs and this is the snuffle mat that I recommend to nearly all of my clients. It is light weight, washes up well via the washing machine, and so far (after 2 years of use) has stood up very well. I have 4 of them in my home for my border collie and corgi to eat from - we use this instead of bowls. It slows the dogs down from eating to fast but more importantly it enables them to eat in a more natural way - it is very canine to sniff and forage for food. This product enables them to do that.For a treat, from time to time, I will even take some finely shredded cheese and sprinkle it in the mats and the dogs will literally be sniffing for 20 minutes if not more, finding every last piece of cheese.I personally use the 19" square mats for my dogs (each dog being 30 pounds in size). Gives a nice amount of surface area for them to sniff and forage through.

This mat is a big hit with my dog! He loves to scrounge and hunt for his food and then he carries his mat to his bed until next mealtime! So cute!

I have a 10-1/2 yo Chihuahua mix and with the heat we have been having lately and our cold, snowy Winters, she ends up either laying around snoozing or barking at any sounds. I felt she needed some stimulation so purchased this mat. She really enjoys sniffing through the mat to find all the little bits. I mostly use small kibble but will sometimes use bits of treats. Feeds her instinct as well as keeping her interested.

My two Boxer puppies love this mat. The material is very soft for their noses and it's well made so they can't pull the "trees" from the mat and ingest them. I scatter their kibble on top of the mats and run my fingers through the "trees" to bury the kibble and it stays well-hidden. I also like that it's machine washable. I've washed them once so far and they look the same as the day they arrived.

I’ve purchased a couple of these mats and my pig absolutely loves them! They are extremely durable, hold up well through multiple washings, and are far superior quality wise to other types of snuffle mats on the market.

The pile on this isn't long enough to hide the treats. My dog just looked at the mat to find them. It took seconds for her to visually spot them all.

I used this for little snacks for our puppy. We feed her twice a day, but we always hold out a little of her food in reserve for training and enrichment. She loves to snuffle and forage when she’s in the yard and on walks, so I thought this would be a great fit.I sprinkle a handful of kibble over it, then run my hands/fingers across the fibers to help the kibble sort of settle into the mat and hide. Then I put it on the floor for her. She knows exactly what it is, and she loves it. She’ll even bring me the mat during the day, which I think is her way of asking for a snack!It takes her about 5-10 minutes to finish it. I was hoping to get a little more time out of it, but she’s a smart girl and a good sniffer. I like that it has rubber grippy spots on the bottom and that it can be rolled up for storage. I also like that it’s machine washable. She doesn’t try to chew on it, so I can’t speak to how durable it is in that regard.

I needed a very soft snuffle mat for my Italian Greyhound with fragile skin, and this one is amazing! It’s gentle, plush, and comfortable, making it perfect for her. I really do like this snuffle mat. The only thing I wish could be improved is that I can hide the dog food better. Another one that I bought, the dog food could go deep inside. So it took my dog longer to eat from it.

I use this sniffing mat in rainy days or when I cannot spread/hide his food outside. I have a 7-month old cockapoo and he loves this sniffy mat so much that he would nap on it. He also uses this surface to eat his kong. This mat is safer and more durable than other mats (my puppy would chew on felt material mats or eat the zipper or foam padding of other mats). The mat is truly non-slip. I highly recommend!

Great quality made product, easily cleaned because its machine washable. My kitty enjoys searching for his kibble in it. Has anti slip material on the bottom side, but I place it on a silicone mat to prevent slipping and sliding. Wish it had come in a different colour other than the dull gray.
