Contrary to popular belief, turtles are not slow..only when they want to be. As for my box turtle, he can walk fast and I like to take him to my local park, but I am afraid of losing him with all the tall grass and worried about hawks coming down from the trees. So the only solution was to order him a leash.I found that it fits him well, he doesn't mind wearing it, and it's easy to put on. I wish the chain were more sturdy because my turtle is strong too! but I am very happy with the quality and the harness is gentle on his shell.I recommend it for keeping your pet safe.

Hard to figure out at first how to put it on, but once you figure it out you will laugh. My poor turtles where dizzy after but it helps you find them. Worth the price.
