This is the best tie out I’ve ever had! I absolutely love it, and it is strong enough to hold my pitbull/German Shepherd mix as well as my German Shepherd puppy. Very thick and the carabiner clasp works so much better than the usual style hooks. I bought 2 so I could tie both dogs out together.

Its a very strong cable, better than the small ones at the store. But if you have a chewer, they will chew the casing off the wire day 1.

I bought the cable for my almost 100 lb berne-doodle, after the old one kinked and began to show signs of wear after a short period of time. This one is holding up to the abuse, and the chaotic upstate NY weather. would recommend. great quality for the price.Update 2-21-2025 Still holding up, and working well. No noticeable issue.

I bought these for my dogs to be able to spend time outside. The quality of the clips is awesome. The wore itself is thick and seems to be very sturdy. I like how the clips are removable and replaceable if necessary. I have always had clips break on theee things. All in all I’m pleased and would definitely purchase again.

Update: Changed stars from 4 to 1. Winter has come and my worst fears have been realized. The plastic coating on the cable cracked in numerous places in the first low temperatures. While the hardware appears to be stainless steel and is holding up well, the cable wire IS NOT stainless steel. It is quite rusty already in places where the coating has cracked. Extremely disappointed by paying more for what LOOKED LIKE better quality but is not. Sigh!This is the 3rd outdoor cable tie out I have bought for my deceptively strong 60 pound husky mix escape artist The first 2 were major disappointments as the plastic coating cracked on both; the "heavy duty" wire rusted to the point that my dog broke it on one, and he escaped by breaking the alloy collar hook on the other. After several months of hard Spring/Summer use, the coating on this one, which seems thicker and more flexible, has not cracked. The wire itself (the part that really holds the dog) is pristine. The hardware is stainless, thick and high quality, and also in excellent condition. The item is definitely superior to the others I have bought from Amazon. As of now, I am extremely satisfied with this product.I did not give it a 5 because Winter, which has caused the demise of other items of this type, has not come yet. However, given the apparent superior quality, I am guardedly optimistic that the vinyl coating will withstand the colder temperatures. If I am this content with the tie out by Spring, I will definitely buy additional products from this seller.Note: The listing described the tie out as "stainless". The carabiner clips and other hardware are, but I cannot attest that the wire itself is. Hopefully, the vinyl coating will not crack and I will not have the opportunity to find that out.

It was way too heavy for my 20 lb dog. This is a good cable for a large size do. I only use a cable leash when I put my dog out to potty. He is a inside dog but has a tendency to run.

Well made and keeps my dog in his roaming zone. Very happy with purchase and would recommend and if necessary would buy again very glad to purchase and receive this and the fur ball is loving it outside on this so we are both happy. Thanks to Amazon and seller.

This so far has been amazing. We have it outside in the winter and so far so good. The clip does freeze if not brought inside.

This is a heavy duty tie out that is very well made. We have a very strong 63lb Portuguese Water dog and this works great for her. Highly recommend.
