I've used two other pet safe melt and I had no complaints. Decided to try this one because it was 45 lbs and the others at 35 lbs weren't quite enough for our big drive. I kid you not, this is INCREDIBLE. We had 1-2 additional inches over what I'd already shoveled and decided to just throw it on top. The temperature had dropped and it was evening, applied it to the entire path and drive. The next morning, it hadn't done just a good job, it ate all of the snow on top, all the ice underneath and was perfectly dry. The only complaint is the lid. Usually there's a tab under the lid, this had nothing. Since all 45 lbs were to be used, I just busted the top with a hammer so it wasn't a problem. Even if it was bother, the melt works so perfectly I'd buy it anyway. Will buy again and definitely recommend!

It's GREAT that Amazon carries this container!! They deliver it fast and as fast as I get it, we apply it to the ice on the front stairs and sidewalk and the ice is gone! The scoop that comes inside is an added feature which adds to the ease of using the product. It's very effective and it's a comfort to know I can rely on this product in the winter time.

i was expecting this to be super hard to open. The box was securely sealed but had a bad feeling when i heard stuff jostling around in it when i picked it up. When i got the box open the lid was partially off, there was no seal on it at all. There was salt all in the box. It's okay i managed to use the scoop to get it in the bucket but it's odd that they didn't even bother taping down the lid. I did try to contact the seller but they never responded. The ice melt works good and i like the blue color you can see where you throw it. I just don't like that fact that they tell you to contact them and then they don't respond.

This really is a fast-acting ice melt. Used it once so far and was very happy with it. I also like the size of the buckets it comes in as 25lbs is easier to handle. The scoop and the bucket itself are well made and sturdy and the scoop is a nice additional piece to have to make tossing the de-ice easily.

Product worked but was moist inside and kind of stuck together . There was also debris of things that should have not been in there . But it did work well on the ice

Order was received quickly, however, the product was wet inside and all stuck together. Tub was boxed nicely, but the tub containing the ice melt looked to have already been opened. It was less than half full, but I’m unsure if it was used, or because there was moisture inside which caused it to melt down. Very expensive and not impressed. Hopefully we can scrape enough out of the bucket for the ice we are expecting this weekend. Buyer beware I suppose……

Ice and snow covered Ct like none other! The delivery was quick and the pet friendly melt product cut thru it successfully and quickly. I will order again next year!!

My fault totally, but dang, this is a small bucket of ice melt. I should’ve paid more attention to the size listed and compared to a Home Depot or Lowe’s bucket. It came in a small square box about 10†x 10â€. It certainly will not last very long as we have a long driveway and several side walls and stoops. Very disappointed to have spent so much money for this. Plus, I was supposed to receive this a week ago, you know, when we actually had snow and ice to melt. Now it’s useless. Lesson learned. I’ll stock up at the local hardware store next year before winter. No more Amazon ordering of ice melt. Buyers beware!!
