1 - Fold the mat in the raised side direction few times, then put some weight on the folds and leave it overnight.
2 - If step1 not useful, you can also use hairdryer to heat the folds for few seconds and repeat step1 helps to recover the crease.

I wish I saw these mats years ago. I have 3 cats, and they love to dig deep in the litter. These mats save a lot of the litter off my floors and all I have to do is empty the litter back in the pans. What great mats!!

This does everything it says it will do. The material is sturdy, and waterproof. It traps 99% of my cat's litter too and is easy to tip over and out. The only problem is that if your cat pukes or has runny poo, it is a nightmare to clean up because it gets trapped in all the little pentagon shapes. I had to clean out each little pentagon hole with a chopstick to get it all out. Gross.

Wanted a mat that actually caught cat litter and easily cleanable. This is 100% it! Very easy to wipe or hose it clean and dispose of litter flow-over easily. Light weight yet heavy duty.I don't understand those rubber mat deals, where when u move it, and all the litter slides off it and onto your floor. I have literally tried all the mats out there and this one is the best design, function, quality, perfect! Get it.
