Wonderful product! Easy set-up, and works as promised. Concerned about the feral cats who visit our covered porch daily for food, we bought this before we went on a four-day trip recently. The dual feeder is large and sturdy, the stainless steel bowls are separate and easy to clean. The food container holds close to 5 pounds of kitten chow nuggets. The smartphone app makes it simple to program the amount and times of feedings, and as the feeder connects to your WiFi, you can check on it remotely and adjust the amount or time of feedings. Paired with a video cam, we could monitor the feeder visually. This is a well built, quality product that functions as promised.

I bought this auto dual feeder June of 2024. I did not put together until I needed it this year Jan 2025. I must say it was a little hard to get it programmed. But, once I got the hang of it, I programmed for 4 feedings of the appropriate amounts. It has worked as advertised & I'm happy with this product. My only warning is that I could not keep the ants from finding the feeder. I raised it up from the floor, used the fancy BugSnub tray with the feet slathered in the goopy petroleum jelly bug stuff. But...to no avail. I had to empty out the unit and go back to the single one meal bowl. So... if you don't have an ant problem... this auto feeder is great.

This is a great feeder, but there are a few things I've come across that I want to share.FOOD: TYPE: Doesn't work well with meow mix or special shaped/larger cat food. Works best with food like science diet, costco brand - smaller, round bits PORTION: Not consistent. One serving sometimes only throws out a few bits, and barely anything if using Meow Mix (hence comment above). This isn't necessarily a deal breaker because you can simply program it to dispense more. "One Serving" for my cat is actually 3 with this feeder. BLOCKAGE: No Issues with blockage.POWER: It plugs in and takes D batteries for a backup power supply. Our power has gone out several times and my settings are saved even without batteries.CAPACITY: It holds A LOT of food. One fill lasts me a couple of weeks with 2 cats.EASE-OF-USE: Extremely easy to program. You can also quickly unlock it by holding down the lock icon, and quickly change any or bypass the schedule and feed now.FINAL THOUGHTS: I Love this, but I recently bought the wifi model, which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The extra money it costs is nothing compared to the additional features and peace of mind it offers. For one, you can control it through the App 100%. It notifies you when the food is low, or if there's a blockage or any issue at all. If you're on vacation, you can monitor it from wherever to make sure it's working and that your cat is getting fed. I've found the App to be extremely accurate. I use it to feed a stray cat outside since she runs away if I come near. With this, I can tap a button on my phone when I see her and the food automatically dispenses. I had it sitting outside in cold below-zero temperatures and it worked great. Every night a pack of raccoons try to break into it, but they haven't succeeded yet. The only thing they're able to do to it is to detach the front tray, which easily slips back on. Raccoons can usually tear anything up if there's food inside, but they haven't been able to do any damage to this, which says a lot!!! Granted, I'm talking about the wifi model, but it's made the same as this one.You will not be disappointed with this brand! If you can afford it, upgrade to the one with wifi and app. It's worth it!!!

I bought this feeder a few months ago to put my cats on a feeding schedule when I'm at work. It has not let me down once. I will say it was really hard getting my phone to pair with it, but once it did I havent had any problems. The one thing that isnt the greatest is the food isnt devided evenly which I have learned overtime isnt important to me. I have 2 cats and they never have issues sharing out of each others bowl.

Estoy usando este comedero desde hace una semana aproximadamente.Fue fácil programarlo después de conseguir las instrucciones en español por internet.Estoy contenta con su funcionamiento, poco a poco los gatos se han ido acostumbrando.Quise probar como funcionarÃa con las baterÃas en caso de que se fuera la luz, lo desconecté de la corriente eléctrica y al poco tiempo se apagó la pantalla led, siguió funcionando pero con la pantalla led apagada, se encendÃa a la hora programada para dispensar la comida y luego se vuelve a apagar. No sabÃa si eso era normal.Me puse en contacto con el vendedor de PETLIBRO para aclararlo, me sorprendió la excelente atención y la amabilidad con la que lo hicieron, me respondieron que es normal que la pantalla se apague 1 minuto después si no hay más acciones mientras el alimentador funciona solo con baterÃas. Está diseñado asà para salvar la vida útil de las baterÃas.Me pareció importante comentarlo por si alguien pasa por las mismas dudas que yo. Saludos.

This is a pretty good pet feeder! I had been shopping around for an automatic feeder for a while for when I am away for several days at a time. I came across this one (on sale) so decided to grab it. It arrived quickly. Was very nicely packaged. All parts and manual included.**uses a regular plug in; but batteries not included - but can be used as back up if the powers goes out**The physical set up of feeder was straight forward. However, the programming of the clock & feedings took a couple tries, but was fine once I got the hang of it. I followed the manual which was included, but also went to the PETLIBRO website and I found that many general questions I had were answered there in the “Q & A†section. Very helpful.I had to play around with the portion sizes a couple times and measured each meal until I got the correct amount for my cats. It took a bit of trial and error, but it ended up working out fine.The cats are not afraid of the noise the machine makes (which is a decently quiet typical mechanical noise) and used it right away. I didn’t bother recording a voice message lol. Perhaps at a later time.Overall, I really enjoy this feeder. Looks great. Really good price (on sale). Works well. Takes a bit of trial and error to get used to the button functions, as well as the correct meal potion sizes, but after you get the hang of it, it’s just fine!Also, FYI there are other more “advanced†models available by this company that include a camera and wifi function - both of which I was not interested in.Enjoy!

Does the job it's supposed to do pretty good but the meal call speaker is so faint you literally need to sitting right next to it to hear an incomprehensible noise so just pretend that feature isn't there
