Cats need face grooming, and these small inexpensive combs easily remove loose itchy hair from around the face, chin, and ears. Our cats seldom get a flea, but I carry a comb in my pocket to use any room, or when visiting other cats. Cheaper at the pet store, harder now to find. I wish the tines on both sides were narrowly spaced, as I don't use the wider side. Holding the comb at a 45 degree angle around face & neck seems about right, and a flatter angle along the back and legs still removes loose hair and seems to feel good to the cat. After long use the tines begin to break but the combs are still a good value, and gentler than metal ones.
