This meter is pretty accurate. I actually have several of these testers. I use these all the time, so I measured them against themselves and the one I know to be very close to perfectly accurate. In the picture I submitted you can see the different PH meters that I am testing, with the verified accurate one on the very far left. This test was done after I went through calibrating this meter for PH, according to the instructions. The instructions are easy to understand & precise for how to calibrate, care for, and use the tester. I recommend adding KCL solution to the cap for storing after use. This will keep the probe from drying out & help keep it working longer & to maintain the calibration for longer. The probe is what needs to be in the solution, so deep enough to cover that, but not so deep it pours out of the cap when you put the tester back in it. I have done that more than once…. I only tested the PH accuracy because that’s my true use for it, but in my experience the EC, TDS & temp are in line with the same level of accuracy for each tester. I'm happy with this tester & glad I ordered it.

In the package you get the meter, a small plastic pipette, three pH specific powders for calibration, and a laminated instruction manual. There's also a hydroponic manual that was not relevant for me.The reason that I got this pH testing meter was for brewing. There are very specific pH levels that you need to hit at certain points during the brewing process, and before getting this meter, I was basically flying blind. This has taken all the guesswork out for me, and I have found it to be pretty accurate. My conversions have increased and my process feels much more scientific now.There is a calibration process that you have to go through when you first get the meter, but I did not find it to be difficult since the instructions were very clear. The kind of people that order PH meters are usually fairly detail oriented, so you probably will not have a problem doing it either.I appreciate that this device also measures the temperature, which is something that I look at constantly during the brewing process as well. It has a lot of other functionality, but I'm not using it for anything other than pH and temperature.Overall I am happy with this device and feel that it is an essential campaign for anyone engaging in food and beverage production or agricultural pursuits. It’s tough to beat the fact that it is an accurate, digital scale at this price, so I feel that it deserves 5 stars.

It's simple to use. I needed to check the tap and bottled water before giving it to my plants. Unfortunately, it read that the tap water is too harsh, which I was expecting. It provides a quick read. Just follow the instructions, and all should be well. This was my only meter, so I had nothing to compare it to.

i'm sure this was designed for growing to use, but I ordered it to monitor the effectiveness of our alkaline water filter. And I must say, it is both easy to use and extremely accurate. So, while I cannot speak to its horticultural utility, I can attest to its quality. Very glad I chose it.

The tester does not appear to be accurate. The instructions and tool are very very complicated. It is hard to use, and it takes some time to get acquainted with the tool.
