they do the job, but honestly they are really big. much bigger then my shoes lace so sometimes tying the shoe laces are weird.

These were great, I bought designer ribbon and replaces the string in some hoodies and used these on the end so the ribbon didn’t fray, worked perfect and gave them a polished look! Love all the color options too!

I purchased these to jazz up the ends of the shoe laces on my new HOKAs, instead I was very disappointed with the overall quality of this product. Not only are the colors and finish nothing like what’s pictured but they are HUGE; more like bullet casings. I did not even open the sealed container.

I didn't realize it only works on cloth shoe laces. If there is a functional plastic tab you can't get it to close down enough to slide the top piece on. I wanted these for ribbon laces I bought for my vans and the metal piece is too big for most holes in shoes I will have to save for future use as I'm past the return period.

The part that you see doesn’t seem to be flaking, but the prongs under the outer sheath came out of the box peeling and flaking off, and it looks like the same finish as the outer sheath, so I’m not convinced it won’t start to happen with the rest of it eventually too, especially after they get washed or even just wet and bumped around a bit. I really want to like them, and with them installed, I really do like the look/feel. I just don’t think they’re going to hold up, since every single one of the prongs for one of the colours I opened first was flaking everywhere in the bag and my hands. Not sure what I’ll do with them. I’m probably just going to return them and try to find something similar but which doesn’t have an outer coating to worry about. Also, it said it would arrive next day (Wednesday) when I ordered, but then didn’t come until Sunday.

The teeth that bite into the string, which become the plug are terrible. They bend like a paper clip and don’t grab the sweater string well at all.. the finish on them rubs off in the washer and dryer too.Overall disappointing purchase
